Welcome to my site and portfolio! Here, you’ll find my enthusiastic and optimistic opinions across sports, music, and movies, while showcasing my professional experience thus far.

Feel free to explore as I'm sure there are common interests to discover – thank you!

About Me

Now a magna cum laude graduate of The University of Memphis, with my Bachelor of Arts in Communications, I am proud to show part of my journey towards the accomplishment.

With roots in the northwest Mississippi hills, I am extremely proud of the journey I have had. Already, I have a year of corporate communications experience, led teams and trained staff successfully for two of the world's busiest hospitality companies and have supported athletic media relations in depth at two different colleges.

I'm proud I have always showcased my hustle, problem-solving, enthusiasm and efficiency each time in every opportunity.

About the Blog

The energy and appreciation for my passions never leave me in any moment. Music, film, sports and the people I've met have all shown me that every story matters and can then be universally enriched by its medium.

What is special about the Sounds: The deep earnestness of the lyricism in a folk song about a mummy that "opens his eyes/ falls in love at first sight / With the girl in the doorway," who is an archaeologist that carries him back to her museum. -"The Curse" - Josh Ritter (2010)

The Screen: Quick and quippy dialogue between two characters trying to downplay the love they have for each other because the fear of losing the friendship they have is too great of a risk to take. - When Harry Met Sally... (1989)

The Sports: A sports team can carry its success far beyond the walls of the venue they play in. That success can cause a city to erupt and is poured back into the people and community.

The Portfolio: My other works, writings, and journals: thoughts on communications, projects for some college assignments, and other essays I have written.

These moments remain and they carry me to whatever is next.
