My Story So Far

I've always pursued my passions with a sense of curiosity and adaptability. From reading water meters in the Mississippi delta at age 11 to managing operations at world-renowned destinations like Chick-fil-A and Disney to supporting a corporate communications team for the world’s largest paper and packaging company, my career has been shaped by a drive to excel and serve those around me.

In media, I worked in sports operations and journalism, covering everything from high school to professional teams in Memphis. It all started with a blog I wrote for in high school that led to media credentials with the Memphis Grizzlies. It allowed me to participate in press conferences, interview players and team personnel and write recaps and columns on the team. From there, I have held positions in sports information, including support roles at Rhodes College and Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Most recently, my corporate communications internship at International Paper solidified my passion for a career in communications and public relations. The chance to share stories of impact through community engagement and sustainability lenses, support digital, internal and executive communications and put my creativity to work was an experience that I will always be grateful for.

I’ve been fortunate to make the most of everything while pursuing my education at The University of Memphis. I am excited to have completed my bachelor’s degree in Communications, minoring in Public Relations and concentrating in Media and Culture, with magna cum laude honors.

Throughout all of it, I've embraced every opportunity with a desire to serve, learn, and grow. My energetic, self-starting approach has shaped my journey, and I’m excited to continue exploring with the same curiosity, passion, and drive.
I’m curious and excited to see what happens next!
