As a final for an Introduction to Public Relations course, I was tasked to create a faux PR Plan for the Girls on the Run Memphis chapter about their decision to go completely virtual during the height of the 2020 pandemic.
My primary resource was an overview of the organization, its goals, and its concerns from 2019. The question was to address Girls on the Run Memphis’s ultimate need: "How do we communicate the value of the virtual program, make this enticing and cool to tweens and comfortable for coaches?"
It is great to look back at this older project to see all the mistakes I made and what I could have done better. That's why I still included it here on my site. After all, every journey has a beginning!
